Two problems related to carburetor have been reported for the 1999 Dodge Durango. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Intake seal leaked allowing most of the oil to burn. I was driving on the illinois tollway and the oil guage dropped to near zero and the warning tone dinged. When I eventually pulled into my dealer 6 quarts of oil later, they immediately new it was the intake seal and thankfully I had 3 weeks left on the warranty.
