In cool weather, I get a thick white emulsion buildup on the inside of the oil filler cap, to the point where it is dripping down into the crankcase and getting sucked into the pcv valve. The local dealer, not the one where I bought it, tells me this is normal and to just wipe it out. Having worked on cars for over 30 years, I do not see this as normal. It seems that excesive moisture is getting into the crankcase from somewhere.
