My 2000 Dodge Durango all of a sudden just stalls on me while driving. My chilren have been in the car when happening scares me bc of traffic hitting me. I've changed all sensors fuel pump spark plugs and spark plug wiring raditor fan cleaned cadiallac convertor checked all relays all good wiring is all good but still having issues a no bus code pops up when dies and have had the truck its diied several times at intersciton highways work everywhere its very dangerous and I've checked and lots of people have had the same issues. These vehicles need to be recalled before someone gets seriously injured espically like a child I've givin up on driving my truck because I'm not putting my children in anymore danger. And I've seen people on here complaining avout the same issues and nothing is being done.
We have a 2000 Dodge Durango that needs a new power box/harness. My mechanic tried to get a replacement part but was told by the parts manufacturer that due to known problems with the Durango power box/harness that the part was redesigned by daimler Chrysler. My mechanic told me that the problem with the power box harness shorted the wiring and that I was lucky that it did not ignite while I was driving. The cost to cover the repairs is over $4,000. I believe that this problem should have been recalled by daimler Chrysler and that I should not be responsible for the cost of repairs for something that could have caused grave danger to me and my family.
