The entire underneath and some panels of the vehicle are completely rusted to the point that the vehicle cannot be safely driven. The vehicle has never been in an ocean front town. Has been in frankfurt, germany and atchison, kansas.

Due to my current location, there is no dealership in the middle east that can perform the required maintenance to complete the recall. Once I am located back in conus, I'll be able to get the vehicle to the manafacturer to have them complete the recall.

3 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 01/13/2015

The engine continue to leak oil near the head gasket and there is water coming out of the tail pipe and continue to leak coolant. Can not drive long distance without loosing the coolant. Had to be towed off the freeway due to this happening. I was told need possible new engine and this is problem with Dodge engine.

4 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 09/20/2010

Prior to the hub freezing up the SUV was making a sqeeky noise in the front end this later turned into a clunking noise and the car would sway when ever there were lane changes especially noticeable at hwy speeds 55 to 65 mph and driving over the lane marker caps on the freeway. This then developed into a metal to metal grinding noise from the front end prior to the wheel assembly right front passenger side seperating inverting underside car chassis.

5 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 04/26/2004

After a tire blow out, I went to retrieve the spare only to find that it was gone. The spare in this vehicle is located under the rear of the vehicle, and is suspended by a cable that lowers from the trunk. When I check for the spare, I only found a 4 inch section of cable with a frayed end. It appears the cable had broken and the spare, with the alloy wheel, must have dropped to the ground at some point. I had no indication that this had happened, and could have caused an accident if someone behind me had hit the spare after it broke loose.
