1 Brake Electric Antilock problem

Failure Date: 05/01/2007

The brakes on my 2006 Durango seem to slip at times. I have gone to stop on several occasions, and the brakes seem to take a second to kick in. I have thought before I wasn't going to stop. This is a great concern to me, especially when I have my grandchildren with me. I feel there is something wrong, and I am not safe at times in this car. It isn't everytime , but it happens too often to feel worry free.

2 Brake Electric Antilock problem

Failure Date: 10/03/2006

2006 Dodge Durango abs deploys prematurely when braking while elevation of paved road changes preventing vehicle from coming to a complete stop in a timely manner. Experience at intersection where uphill road dead ends into cross road and elevation of cross road is flat.

3 Brake Electric Antilock problem

Failure Date: 02/20/2006

I picked up my brand new Dodge Durango on Jan 31st. A short time after, I received a call from my dealer, paramus Dodge, regarding a safety recall for abs. I was told to schedule an appointment to have the defect corrected. I scheduled an appointment for Monday, February 20th at 10 a. M. After sitting at the dealership for approximately 1 1/2 hours, they informed me that they could not perform the procedure because they did not have the right software that would enable them to correct the condition. It is quite troubling to me that I wasted time on my holiday to have this problem corrected. Additionally, the dealer could not provide me with an estimate of when they will be ready to deal with the problem. Moreover, I cannot believe that Chrysler could have a safety recall and not be ready to deal with the recall. Please let me know when and where this can be resolved. I am losing patience. This is a brand new car.
