The passenger side headlight lamp is not working due to something in the harness. I have owned 2 Dodge Durango SUV's and both had problems with the passenger side headlamp. No power to the light the first one would come on if you wiggled the headlight harness. The one I have now has been checked and there is no power to the bulb. When I'm out driving around town I notice I am not the only Dodge Durango without a headlight I have seen so many with the same issue. I have seen other Chrysler's and Dodge vehicles diffrent make and models with a headlight blown out. I think they need to fix this its a harness problem not just a bulb replacement issue. I should not have to try and replace a wiring harness due to the defects I can clearly see with other vehicles having the same issues. This started about a year after I bought the vehicle. Bought brand new bulbs 2 times thinking it was just a bulb well its the harness. All fuses have been checked with a multimeter as well as the bulb outlet.
Vehicle. Cuts off when running, check engine light came on. Had vehicle checked and replaced 02 sensors and filter. After replacing it ran worse than it did before replacing them. Check engine light will not go off.
Air did employ when it hit a deer at 35 mph , inside light go so dim on the radio and the front, you see the dashboard or the radio.
The contact owns a 2013 Dodge Durango. The contact stated while driving at 15-20 mph and making a left turn, the turn signal was engaged but the driver's side blinker failed to illuminate, causing the driver who was driving behind the contact to honk at her. A warning message indicating that the driver's side blinker had failed illuminated. The contact continued to drive. The contact stated that her husband and herself replaced the driver's side blinker bulb twice within a week; however, the failure persisted. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 111,000.
All light on cluster come on showing tire pressure system and blind spot system need service. I took car to dealer multiple times and they find no problems. When this problem occurs, all functions in vehicle stop working.
In reference to recall t36 on 2011-2014 Dodge Durango for alternator malfunction. My vehicle is at dealership for repairs and the total is 1296. 19 and the Chrysler corp does not want to paid for the repairs because my VIN is not under that recall but my vehicle is the same make and model of the recall. Eariler complaint on 7/8/19.

I had an electrical fire in the headliner behind the passenger sun visor today 7/18/18. My vehicle was repaired prior in 2014 related to the recall concerning this wiring. Shortly after starting the vehicle and driving, smoke started rolling out from behind the headliner. I pulled into an auto shop and they located the source of the fire.
"takata recall"sometimes after the car has been driven long or short drives and turned off for a short period of time, when I go to start the engine the starter will grind/engine turns over but will not start this issue was suppose to be taken care of in the summer of 2015. Dealer had our car for over two months waiting on parts but the issue is starting to occur again!(electrical) also I find at different times the interior lights/gauge lights/indicator lights that are on and stay on for a few miles like there is a short in the electrical system. Note: I have never had a recall on the electrical problem.
We have a 2013 Dodge Durango with aprox 1600 miles on it. I have noticed on two different days now that when I get into the vehicle and start it that the "reading lamps" that are up by the sunglasses holder located in the front top of the vehicle, I noticed that they are "on" . . . And I have to manually turn them off. Then on a different day I went to run errands, and I got in and out of the vehicle 3 times, and after all 3 occasions when I got back into the vehicle the lights were "on" again. . . . There was no one in the car that could turned them on, and it was daylight outside every time. I'm not for sure what is going on but it worry's me a bit since I have seen these other people reporting lighting/electrical issues and possiable headliner fires! I see there is an open investigation with Chrysler about this or a similar issue. . . . I would like to add my incident to this as well. . . Hoping they can get this figured out and find a fix to the risk/issue.
I have brought in the vehicle to the local Dodge service center in naples because the lights on the dashboard go off when the wipers are in use. All of the lights including the time / radio station become dim. On December 26th although the lights are set on automatic, the lights did not come on at night. We manually had to switch so that we would have lights. We have also on two-three occasions an issue with the transmission and/or accelarator. The rpm on the car where very high and the car was basically not going over 35-40 mph. Once parked and then put in drive again it worked ok until the next time it did it. The local Dodge service center claim they did not find anything wrong and initially blamed the light issue on a sunpass because they saw the suction cup marks. However the sunpass is not always in this vehicle and the times that lights have dimmed the sunpass has not been on.
