My vehicle randomly stalled in the middle of the road (I was unaware of the recall, I was not notified of recall upon purchase of vehicle) when I was towed to shop they confirmed the issue was the fuel pump relay (I believe that is what it’s called that the recall is for) I was charged $700 for 2. 5 mile tow and repair. After leaving the shop my vehicle began having other problems shortly after (within a month) my vehicle stopped accelerating like a normal vehicle would, it was harder to accelerate it seemed and then the noise. . It is like a knock or a grind? I was told I needed to replace my engine mount so I did… another $850 later and the noise is worse and it still doesn’t accelerate like it should and they are saying my transfer case needs replacing and that it will cost me 2k just for the parts. My car was in perfect condition before the relay failed. . No issues. So is it another recall or is it damage due to a recall I was never notified of?.
My vehicle tends to overheat quite often. The water pump I've had to change five times within the past 5 years the radiator and patch change up three times and the thermostat I've had to change out three times. There's also the transmission shifting gears issue and get stuck on low and I can't move the vehicle.
At 40 mph and more vehicle stalls and shake intermittent stalls, stumble. Vehicle do not cut off. But stumble real bad. It's really bad in overdrive. 2 or more people in it.
1. The air bag light come on & off randomly. The air bag has never been deployed. 2. The transmission misfires, I don't know if it has to do with the fuel pump relay. I've replaced almost the entire transmission and still does the same thing.
My vehicle had shut down on me numerous times while I was driving with my kids in the car and it hasn’t been running for months now I’m without a vehicle cause I had took it to the dealership to fix the problem and the problem was never fixed.
Mientras estoy conduciendo (en movimiento) el vehculo en awd auto cambia a low range, enciende la luz awd y se pone pesado, al dar reversa se trancan las gomas haciendo un ruido fuerte y se torna pesada al dar curva y al correr.

Takata recall. I could feel my car was not shifting properly then finally my check engine light came on & I went & got the code p0730 read it came back as gear ratio. Something to do with the inside of the transmission.
Durango started jerking when going up hills, hard time shifting gears, and sometimes wouldn't shift at all, and overdrive not functioning.
Engine shutdown twice today during low speed driving 30mph. Needed to shift to neutral and move key to off and restart. During shutdown dash lights went dark - no rpm, speed or warning lights were turned on. Has happened multiple times since 2017 including when accelerating on an highway ramp, currently shutting down daily typically when engine is cool. Humes Dodge in waterford PA could not replicate issue when vehicle was checked 10/2018. Dealer stated battery was low capacity, battery replaced and issue repeated. No fault codes shown in computer scan.
Was driving down the road and I heard a "thunk" the check engine light came on and when I pressed the gas pedal there was no power. I had to put it in neutral then back in to drive for it to work again. This happened shortly after accelerating.
While driving on the highway with my wife and kids the truck had hard shift then went into neutral. The engine light came on. My wife panicked but I was able to get her to pull across the three lanes of traffic on the highway to the shoulder. Once stopped we manually shifter to park then turned off the car let it sit for a few minutes. We restarted the car and everything appeared to be working fine except for the service light which was on. The error code was a p0730. Incorrect drive shift ratio. The transmission is automatic. There are a lot of threads about this issue on multiple Dodge vehicles up to 2015. It appears to be on the 5 speed. I called Dodge customer service and am bringing the vehicle into the dealer. I also had Dodge customer service open a escalated ticket for the issue. Vehicle has a little over 50,000 miles at the time.
The contact owns a 2013 Dodge Durango. The contact backed the vehicle in the driveway, and exited the vehicle with the key in the ignition and the gear selector in park. The vehicle independently shifted out of park into drive on an incline, and reversed down the driveway into a neighbor's garage and bricks. The insurance company was notified of the failure. The contact was able to shift the gear into park. A police report was filed. The manufacturer was notified. The failure mileage was not available.
Ever since my truck hit about 20k it started to like shake ,vibrate. I took it in to the dealer to see why it was doing it ,they did an update to the transmission and told me it should go away. On my way home it started to do the same thing again between 30-45 mph is when it would do it . I've taken it in a couple of time already for the same thing and according to Chrysler it's normal. Now I'm no expert in vehicles but it's gotten worse and they don't seem to care . I spoke with a representative for a hot line of Chrysler but all they told me is that I could take it in to another dealer so they can run another diagnostic and that the Chrysler engineers say it's normal that my truck shake vibrates at those speeds. I've read on line that other Durango owners have experience the same problem I'm having and chryslers isn't doing anything about it. Please help me with this problem.
The contact owns a 2013 Dodge Durango. While the vehicle was idling in park, it erroneously accelerated to 5 mph and crashed into another vehicle. There was no driver in the vehicle at the time of the crash, but there was a front passenger and a second row passenger. The contact sustained an injury to the left foot and received medical attention due to attempting to enter the moving vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the manufacturer was notified. The manufacturer had the vehicle examined by an investigator who was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 33,000.
The contact owns a 2013 Dodge Durango. While reversing at 2 mph, the vehicle jerked before reversing. In addition, the vehicle jerked before accelerating. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, who diagnosed that the transmission needed to be reflushed. The vehicle was repaired however, the failure recurred on numerous occasions. The VIN was included in NHTSA campaign number: 15v115000 (electrical system) however, the part needed to repair the vehicle was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 13,000.
When accerating from a stop or even slowing down to make a turn and attempting to get up to speed, the vehicle dogs like it wants to die. Even when getting from the one ramp to the highway there is a hesitation. The rpm's go down rapidly, then I have to press the gas pedal down to get the vehicle to kick in to get it up to speed. At one point, I had to press the gas pedal down to get the acceleration I needed to avoid getting rear ended by a semi. I have had it t a dealership 4 times for this and another mechanic and was told that this is a Dodge issue with the gear ratio and that is the way it is. I even had 2 mechanics drive along and they noticed it,but did nothing. This is going to get someone killed if Dodge does not do something about it. This has been happening since I purchased the vehicle in 2014. This is an everyday occurrencei thought they could fix this issue and still nothing. I keep getting the run around from the local dealership on this.
