Lose Power Steering problems of the 2014 Dodge Durango

Vehicle is a new company vehicle and had approximately 507 miles on it when the incident occurred. I was driving and vehicle lost power steering and started to smoke from under the hood. Pulled into next safe parking lot and opened hood. Couldn't see any flames and after about 5 - 10 minutes smoke stopped. Tried driving vehicle and it seemed ok except for no power steering. Drove vehicle home and called the 800 number for customer service for Chrysler, Dodge and they told me to call a local Chrysler, Dodge dealer for a service appointment. Called local dealer and they told me to bring vehicle in two days later for service.
