Eight problems related to brake foundation components have been reported for the 1996 Dodge Grand Caravan. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Brake completely failed when exiting the freeway causing the pedal to go to the floor, consumer was able to stop car by reapplying the brake harshly. Nlm.
Calipers stuck and resultant heat warped the rotors, resulting in the shuddering sensation in subsequent stopping.
Driving habits are conservative-do not ride the brakes. Rotors should not be defective so soon. Dealer could not produce defective rotors to prove evidence of wear.

Rear brakes failed.
Front brakes failed causing them to catch on fire while driving down a hill, brakes have been replaced but still do not operate properly.
