Three problems related to front seat recliner have been reported for the 1996 Dodge Grand Caravan. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving 65 mph and without prior warning driver's seatback broke. Brake was not applied. No injury.
During impact with embankment the right rear passenger seat tilted forward due to failure of the locking mechanism which holds the seat down.
The driver seat broke on impact during accident resulting in injury to the driver. Yh.
