Two problems related to speed control linkage have been reported for the 1996 Dodge Grand Caravan. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Intermittently a raw gas smell is leaking inside the vehicle. The smell so pervasive at times the consumer will have to pull over or ride with the windows down. The dealer was notified. Please add more information.
While driving with cruise control activated at about 75 mph, cruise control cable got stuck, causing the vehicle to suddenly acclerate. Occupant had to ride the brakes for about 4 miles, and vehicle slowed down to 45 mph. Driver had to put vehicle in park position in order to stop. This may have resulted in a crash. Please provide further information.
