Three problems related to sway bar have been reported for the 1996 Dodge Grand Caravan. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

Sway bars failed and are expensive to replace. Mechanic says that he is replacing alot of them on Dodge products and that it is a case of poor engineering. Bill $200 for both sides and he said to expect them to continue going bad -- since there are no other aftermarket manufacturers making these parts he must replace them with Dodge branded oem.
Consumer heard a loud noise coming from front end of vehicle while driving. . While vehicle was being serviced technician noticed sway bar needed to be replaced. Please provide further information.
