Consumer was at a gas station when vehicle started smelling, wires melted, battery was sitting on two wires of wiring harness and caused wires to short out, claim 13-7061-575.

Consumer started to smell burning wires, the battery was sitting on two wires of wiring harness and caused wires to short out, claim 13-7061-575.

7 Wiring problem

Failure Date: 03/17/1999

Consumer parked van in a parking lot and it caught on fire. Fire department was called to put the fire out.

8 Wiring problem

Failure Date: 10/08/1998

Electrical fire.

9 Wiring problem

While in driveway vehicle suddenly accelerated at a high rate of speed to 30-40 mph in a short distance with foot still on brake, causing vehicle to crash into a tree. Prior to incident consumer smelled wires burning.
