While filling up the fuel tank valve joint separated from gas tank, causing gasoline to pour out. Consumer had vehicle towed to the dealer for analysis, and mechanic recommended that the fuel be replaced due to a crack.
When driving over some debris in the road, the fuel tank ruptured.
