1 Brake Sensor problem

Failure Date: 06/19/2010

Four cars in front of me at an intersection with traffic light when I lost all brakes. The pedal went right to the floor. I had to pull over to the right and almost right onto a persons lawn to keep from rear ending the vehicle in front of me. If my daughter had been driving there would have been an accident report with this. Thank goodness no one was hurt. My husband had just been driving and he said the pedal was feeling soft. It would grip and then give. I have had this 2005 Dodge caravan for a little over a year. I bought it at a used car dealer, but I have had no recalls on anything by the dealership. When contacted they can not help me. I do not know if this has happened before with the vehicle, but the dealership website has problems with the brakes and the 2005 is the worst. There was really no warning and there is still no sensory lights on either.
