My vans locks don't work anymore on the remote on by pushing the button but if I charge the battery even if its not dead it'll work for a couple days I feel this should be fixed for safety.

Electric operation of locks quit and has not resumed. Neither keys remote feature works to lock or unlock the van, although they both cause the lights to flash as usual. Lock switches on driver and front passenger doors also do not work. Manual locking via the old fashioned buttons works ok, as do key locks on rear hatch and driver's door.

Door locks stopped working, no one fuse to change for it, different forums says to unhook battery cable and fuses to restore power to door locks, this worked for about 3 days, door locks are not working again. Over it!!!!.

The 05 Grand Caravan that I have has the lock issue the buttons inside nor the key fob will unlock or lock the vehicle. So if I were in a emergency situation and I need to lock or unlock my doors I would not be able to in time therefore I think this is a huge safety issue. My father in law is having the same issue with his 05 town and country.

The power door locks for the driver, passenger and two side slider doors on my van stopped working. The inside door toggle switch does not work at all. The key fob locking system does not work to lock these 4 doors. The key fob lock mechanism will lock the rear door hatch only. I have the car at the dealer today for repairs. From internet searches, it appears that the company has to do a flash update on the bcm, they are aware of this problem.

Unable to lock back hatch with key or from inside vehicle. Safety problem with 1 and 3 year old that need to have doors locked while vehicle is in motion. Also unsafe for young children to be standing outside vehicle while unlocking driver's door with key then manually d/s rear door. Children are unnecessarily standing outside vehicle while doors are manually unlocked.

Our door locks stopped working with both the unlock button and the remote key. We cannot unlock our doors unless we do it manually, and there is now no way to lock the back hatch. There is only one key hole and this is a major safety issue.

I feel this is a huge safety issue that daimler Chrysler is ignoring and leaving families with the burden of repairing this expensive issue. This is a safety issue and nothing else that Dodge should fix for its loyal customers.

Key operated electronic door locks ceased to function. Can reset by removing iod fuse, but problem seems to come back in a few days or few weeks time. . Is a huge convience problem manually unlocking passenger doors by reaching to back seat and when you want to load some groceries into rear hatch. . Also could be safety issue, especially for someone with disabilities. . . . Based on the number of complaints I see, if this can be solved with the dealer reprogramming the computer, this should be a definite safety defect and done at no cost to the owner. .

The locks keep stop working and it needs to be reset by removing the fuse, read on the internet that almost everybody with this type of van experiences this problem should be a recall. Locks finally gave out all the way and will not open anymore.

Our power locks quit working. We have tried getting a new battery which worked for a whole day then they stopped working again. We have tried replacing the fuse and it worked for a day and then it stopped working again. There needs to be a recall out for the locks. The locks do not work on either the remote or in the vehicle itself. The only locks that work is for the trunk but besides that none of the doors work.

Automatic door locks have failed. Car is still flashing headlights & beeping that car is locked when using the remote, but the car is not locking. The car is also not locking after reaching 18 mph as it is suppose to. The main lock switch in the car cansole is also not locking the doors. All doors must be opened by hand after the driver door is opened with the key.
