The contact owns a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan. While driving approximately 45 mph with the windshield wipers activated, they suddenly began to malfunction. The wipers touched and would seize together in the middle of the windshield. The contact pulled over and discovered that the passenger side windshield wiper cover had nearly detached. The failure recurred on three other occasions. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 06v067000 (visibility). The approximate failure mileage was 139,049.

2 Wiper problem

Failure Date: 05/14/2013

The wipers will stop working. Stopped for while. Started up they started working again. This has happened more then once . . . . Have heard of this before. . .

3 Wiper problem

Failure Date: 02/08/2012

2005 Dodge Grand Caravan headlight switch will not turn the lights on. You have to keep turning the switch to make it turn on. As you are going down the road at night the lights will flash or they will just turn off.

4 Wiper problem

Failure Date: 01/12/2012

No interior lights or dashboard light or back wipers or heating control.

5 Wiper problem

Failure Date: 08/15/2011

Turn signal intermittently fails to work at all. Worse, left signal will be selected, but right signal will be delivered. Sometimes, signal works correctly. Dangerous. Wipers work very unpredicatably, or not at all. Will not come on, then will not go off. Will run very fast or very slow, and won't adjust.

6 Wiper problem

Failure Date: 05/06/2009

The headlights and parking lights started to randomly turn on and off. Now the parking lights won't go off and the headlights will not go on. No matter how many times I flip the switch. This is awful and dangerous, as I can't drive at night. The windshield wipers also will not turn on. This is ridiculous and I can't find any help.

7 Wiper problem

Failure Date: 06/09/2005

Windshield wipers stuck together during rain causing visibility problems. I had to pull of the interstate highway and manually separate the wipers. Had this happened in heavy traffic with heavy rain, I would have been blinded.
