Fail To Accelerate problems of the 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan

The contact owns a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan. On several occasions, while driving 40 mph, the accelerator pedal was depressed and the passing gear failed to accelerate. While the brake pedal was depressed and the vehicle was stopped, the engine continued to rev at a rapid speed. The contact had to keep pumping the brake pedal. Also, the electronic throttle control indicator illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure.
