2017 Dodge Grand Caravan driver side door just stopped operating. Cannot open with key fob or manually inside or out. This poses a safety concern as you cannot get in or our of vehicle on that side in the back seats. This happened all of a sudden. Just stopped working as sitting in driveway.

I called Dodge customer service they told me I was out of luck and would have to pay for it to get fixed my self. I would need to first pay for the dealer to figure out what it is and pay around 1,000 dollars for it to be fixed. I have seen hundreds of people complain about this happened to vans. Please help with problem many families in danger with these door not opening at all. I'm terrified for my children with this door not opening at all.
2017 Dodge caravan rear driver side sliding door is stuck in the lock position. It won't open or unlock automatically or manually. It was fine when I went to bed the night before. Went to put the kids in the car the next morning it wouldn't open.
While stationary, passenger side sliding door will not reliably open; manually or with keyless entry. Key fob does not activate the actuator to unlock the door. Unable to get into the vehicle in the event of an emergency. Door can only be opened from inside.

User manual states that it is an electronic throttle control indicator light.

We have just had that seat stuck and won't stow/ fixed to tune of $800, several complaints online about same problem and same side, replaced a battery on 2 year old van!!?? Dodge needs to make this one right- it's a safety issue!!.
