Owners/service Manual problems of the 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan

2017 Dodge Grand Caravan driver side door just stopped operating. Cannot open with key fob or manually inside or out. This poses a safety concern as you cannot get in or our of vehicle on that side in the back seats. This happened all of a sudden. Just stopped working as sitting in driveway.

The driver's side sliding door became stuck in the lock position. It will not unlock manually or electrically with the power lock button or key fob. The door will not open at all.

Driver's side passenger door locking mechanism buzzes when locking. It must be manually unlocked to open door.

Doors won't open or unlock with key fob, roof panel buttons or manually. This happens randomly. Back sliding doors will also randomly open when van is parked and turned off.

Sliding door locks and won't open or unlock. Doors are automatic doors. Door will not unlock or open manually or automatically.

The passenger driver side door will not open. It is power it will not open with any of the button it will also not open manually. This is a huge safety concern. If I was in a accident or anything and needed to get that door open I would not be able to get my children out of the car. If the other door breaks I would not be able to use my car at all. I'm extremely worried about needed that door and not being able to and something happening to my children. I called Dodge customer service they told me I was out of luck and would have to pay for it to get fixed my self. I would need to first pay for the dealer to figure out what it is and pay around 1,000 dollars for it to be fixed. I have seen hundreds of people complain about this happened to vans. Please help with problem many families in danger with these door not opening at all. I'm terrified for my children with this door not opening at all.

2017 Dodge caravan rear driver side sliding door is stuck in the lock position. It won't open or unlock automatically or manually. It was fine when I went to bed the night before. Went to put the kids in the car the next morning it wouldn't open.

While stationary, passenger side sliding door will not reliably open; manually or with keyless entry. Key fob does not activate the actuator to unlock the door. Unable to get into the vehicle in the event of an emergency. Door can only be opened from inside.

Van accelerated for approximately 1 minute. I was on the highway. I slammed on the breaks and was able to maintain a speed of 55 miles per hour. Gas peddle seemed stuck. A red flashing lightning sign illuminated and then went away. The van then stopped accelerating. I called a tow truck to take to dealership and now lights are on at all. User manual states that it is an electronic throttle control indicator light.

Our 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan drivers side sliding door is locked and won't ipen with any remotes, buttons or manually. This is a huge safety concern if we need to get out that door. I noticed a lot of other people on the internet are stating the same problem with back to 2014. The other consumers encourage us to report. We have just had that seat stuck and won't stow/ fixed to tune of $800, several complaints online about same problem and same side, replaced a battery on 2 year old van!!?? Dodge needs to make this one right- it's a safety issue!!.
