1998 Dodge Intrepid's right front tire separated from vehicle. When the tire sheared off it scratched the rear door and dented and scratched the front bumper. The day prior to this incident the consumer had brake repairs done.
Vehicle was parked in the front of the house. Consumer went inside the vehicle to start it up and without warning the passenger's side wheel sheared off, causing the vehicle to drop to the ground. Consumer had vehicle towed the dealer for inspection, and mechanic determined that wheel needed to be replaced due to corrosion.
