One problem related to front suspension lower control arm has been reported for the 1999 Dodge Intrepid. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
1994 Dodge Intrepid left front control arm broke while turning into the shopping plaza driveway. The left control arm separated from the steering knuckle and the wheel assembly came out of the wheel pulling the transmission half shaft out of the transaxle. The consumer the manufacturer, but was told the recall had already been performed on the vehicle. The consumer was told by her own dealer that the recall does nothing to prevent the wheel and drive shaft from coming out of the vehicle.
