One problem related to speed control cable has been reported for the 1999 Dodge Intrepid. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
In normal driving conditions both the window regulator and the cable for the cruise control failed causing the glass to enter the window frame and the car to lose speed. I had the window repaired only to have it fail again and have not yet repaired the cruise control for fear of another failure.
