Recall no. #03v035000, seat back recliner bolt: the recall was done on the vehicle but now the seat motor has dropped down under the seat. The consumer claimed that there was no problems with the seat motor before the recall.
After making an appointment for recall repairs the consumer was informed by the dealer that the parts were not available for the seat reclining bolt (recall number 03 v 035 000). .
I was a victim of an accident, another vehicle had struck me in the rear of my vehicle. Upon inpact the drivers side seat that I was sitting in had totally colapsed backward. Injuries where sustained to neck and back which was confirmed by medical expertise. I truly believe that the injuries where from the seat breaking, giving no support thus allowing my body to jolt backward and bounce around. This is a serious saftey hazard that needs to be addressed before lives are lost.
