Air Bag Not Deploy problems of the 2004 Dodge Intrepid

Tl-the contact owns a 2004 Dodge Intrepid. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 70 mph, a deer jumped in front of the vehicle causing the contact to hit the animal. In addition, the front of the vehicle caught on fire and the air bags did not deploy. A police report was filed. The fire department was the one who extinguished the fire. The vehicle was destroyed. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 136,000. Ak.

My 2004 Dodge Intrepid was in an accident. Over 5 miles per hour front end damage. Air bags did not deploy. When car insurance looked at car said motor seized at the scene of accident but not from accident. Terrible car,terrible auto insurance. Now paying for a car that is sitting at a garage.

We were in a car accident on June 13, 2008. We were traveling east in a 2004 Dodge Intrepid on a 2 lane street and in the opposite lane a 2001 Ford f-150 pickup truck was traveling west. The airbags never deployed in the Intrepid. The police report listed this as a head on collision. As of right now I was the passenger in the Intrepid and have sustained some very serious nerve damage and a shoulder injury. As well as bruising across my chest. But our concern is that when we bought our car we were told that the airbags would work in a accident. Which they failed to do.

The contact's vehicle hit a guard rail at 50-55 mph and the airbags did not deploy. The bumper came off, the lights were knocked out, and the hood was pushed back. The vehicle has not been inspected. A police report was taken at the scene. The contact sustained a scrape to his head, a stiff neck, and has headaches. The manufacturer has not been contacted.

Consumer's vehicle was involved in an accident on Friday. It rear ended a car that stopped on the highway on ramp. Upon impact, the air bags did not deploy. Also, the sons' seat belt in the back seat came unbuckled, but he was not in it at the time. No air bag light came on, or had any prior problems with the seat belt before the accident vehicle had not been inspected, and the claims adjuster had not seen it yet.
