1 Air Bag On-off Switch problem

There was a recall on the airbags & airbag module. . They supposedly replaced. . The electrical wire is now messed up bc the airbag light keeps coming on & off, the drivers side front door control lock to lock the car will not work, now engine light comes on & off and the transmission was replaced, all new components, driving the car on Jan 4th 2020 & the engine just stops on me at traffic light. . This car has had nothing but problems after problems from the 1st day I bought it from the sales agent that lied to me about everything. . There are recalls on my car that still never got replaced. . I am the new owner of this 2009 Dodge Journey sxt on (2/16/2018). . I was told I'm the 2nd owner, I am the 4th owner and was lied about if this car was in a accident. . It was in a accident to do with the transmission stopping and the ppl that had this car b4 me the report says it was side swiped passenger side on (10/18/2017). . Found out more about the car I bought was in a major flood so someone didn't tell the truth & I was sold a car that has water damage & they covered it up and I been complaining since I bought this car. . . Something isn't right with this car & I got ripped off, this car the transmission stopped on me and I almost got in a bad car accident. . I've had a mechanic at a Dodge dealership tell me & my dad I was sold a car that has water damage etc. . . I am having problems with the airbag light on & off and this was a recall and should be redone, the engine light is faulty and the steering wheel and electrical still, along with the fob ignition switch. .

2 Air Bag On-off Switch problem

Master window switch quit working, bought a new switch that didnt fix it and so I did some research and see there was a recall on these vehicles for the copyright 2011, Chrysler group llc, all rights reserved February 2011 dealer service instructions for: safety recall k07 front door wiring harnesses 2009 (jc) Dodge Journey note: this recall applies only to the above vehicles built from November 01, 2007 through November 07, 2008 (mdh 110122 through 110723) which also effects my lighting and possibly airbags . I have children that's not acceptable .

How can you take your car to a Dodge dealer and still can't get help! why does my car read 37 codes? why is my abs tracking light on causing me not to switch gears? why is my airbag light on at all times? why does my back up camera not come on when needed? why haven't they recalled this piece of trash they call a car? I can't go anywhwer with out it not starting and needing a jump. I'm out of about 2000 and still no answers! why haven't I received any recalls?.

4 Air Bag On-off Switch problem

Failure Date: 10/07/2015

Tl-the contact owns a 2009 Dodge Journey. The contact stated while driving approximately 40 mph, the vehicle shut off. The failure recurred multiple times intermittently. The vehicle was taken to a dealer for diagnostic testing. The mechanic replaced the ignition switch, but the failure persisted. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact also stated that the air bag warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and the contact was notified that the VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign id number: 14v373000 (air bags, electrical system). The approximate failure mileage was 60,000. Mf.

5 Air Bag On-off Switch problem

Failure Date: 12/01/2014

The contact owns a 2009 Dodge Journey. While in park, the vehicle failed to start and the key remained in the off position. The vehicle was taken to multiple dealers who diagnosed that the ignition switch needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure recurred on numerous occasions. The VIN was included in NHTSA campaign number: 14v373000 (air bags, electrical system); however, the part needed to repair the vehicle was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 55,000.
