While the vehicle was in a parking lot, the brake pedal depressed to the floorboard while the vehicle was in reverse(r). The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where a mechanic diagnosed the vehicle with a faulty abs module and the contact was provided an estimate for the repair. Upon investigation, the contact discovered NHTSA campaign number: 15v675000 (electronic stability control (esc), service brakes, hydraulic) and linked the failure to the recall. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired and remained with the dealer. The failure mileage was approximately 150,000.
