Tl- the contact owns a 2012 Dodge Journey. The contact stated that while driving at 50 mph, the vehicle would stall and shut off without warning. The vehicle would not restart, and the vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic. The vehicle was then able to be driven to atlantic Chrysler Jeep Dodge ram 555 sunrise hwy, west islip, NY 11795 631-422-0123 where they performed a diagnostic and informed the contact that there was a recall for the left cylinder head. The recall was performed on the left cylinder head, however, they mechanic informed him that there was a wire shortage from the pcm to the map sensor. The contact was given an estimate for the repair to the vehicle. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that wiring was not under warranty and offered no assistance. The vehicle had been repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 139,000.
The contact owns a 2012 Dodge Journey. While driving 30 mph, all the warning indicators illuminated on the instrument panel and the engine stalled. The contact pulled the vehicle over to the side of the road. The contact attempted restarting the vehicle, but the engine did not start.
