The manufacturer had not been notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000.

The contact watched a youtube video and temporarily repaired the vehicle before going to the dealer. When the dealer saw the remedy that was performed, they did not service the vehicle. I took my car for recall few days ago for steering and cover for the engine now my car wont start the computer and everything is not working everything is locked I have no issues boforee the recall. Its sitting there not able to start wheel is locked and brakes I everything is going off wipers and other stuff going crazy . . . . . . . I drove one time after the recall I dont know whats going on. . . I never had any issues with the car until I took the car for recall. . Its not the same the car was in the shop for recall appt on Thursday April 12 2018 soon as I left the car would not start on fri the following day and its going crazy what do I need to do they did something to it making the car not start it wont let me choose what is wrong with the car on the form is unknoown or other and elec stabilty control and electrical.
My Journey doesn't want to start. According to the mechanic it's the module that doesn't read the key. We had our family vacation in baja California and we were stranded there because my 2012 Dodge Journey wouldn't start.
Vehicle would not start after work. Started fine in the am before going to work. After work, after 3 times of trying to start the vehicle was able to get it started to drive over to autozone to hook up to a computer. Battery had to be replaced. 2nd incident was on 3/17/15-journey lost electrical power while driving home causing radio shut off, lights on dash continued to flash (abc, traction control,airbag) was able to get home and vehicle rpm's went to 4000 and shut itself completely off. 3rd incident was on 3/19/15-driving vehicle back to washington to auto shop to be worked on, completely shut off 4 times within a 20 mile drive and rpm's continued to jump each time before shutting off between 4000-5000. Phone call from auto shop on 3/20/15 stating altenator is not working and is on back order to do recalls.
