Traction Control Light On problems of the 2012 Dodge Journey

The contact owns a 2012 Dodge Journey. The contact stated that a loud grinding sound emitted from the vehicle when the brake pedal was depressed. The contact also mentioned that the abs and traction control warning lights illuminated randomly. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the failure codes were cleared, but the failure was unable to be duplicated. The vehicle was not repaired and the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer on three occasions and the front passenger side speed sensor module was replaced. In addition, the gears slipped and the abs and traction control warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign numbers: 15v675000 (electronic stability control, service brakes, hydraulic) and 11v550000 (service brakes, hydraulic). The failure mileage was not available.
