Sometimes when I turn my car on the front screen won’t turn on it will stay black, when I go to back up my rear view camera won’t work, sometimes my two front windows won’t roll down, my defroster won’t turn on in the front, my blowers used to work where I was able to switch them to defrost, just face, or feet but it’s just stuck on one setting and my passenger side blows hot air when the ac is on. In winter it’s hard to see out my front window even when I let the car warm up, it will fog up while I’m driving and it causes me not to see and could potentially cause a major accident, also in the summertime when I need the ac for my children and it’s not working properly can effect them as well, my car definitely should be on the recall list for several things that have been recalled, I feel unsafe to drive it especially with my babies in the car. It’s my only transportation for anything! along side with my awd light flickering on and off and causing my car to slow down and not accelerate, it feels like it’s going to stall and would not be good in the middle of traffic.
This has been happening for about a month now. While driving my dash board lights go on then off,my radio will turn up by itself, my heat/ ac wont come on. I will have to shut my car off and then back on. For it to work. And it makes my car to jerk and now today. Feb. 26 2020. My wipers go out as well on the highway in a down pour. Again I had to pull over turn my car off wait about 5 mins and then start my car again. I had to do this about 5 time during my hour 1/2 drive.
Tl- the contact owns a 2016 Dodge Journey. The contact stated while operating the vehicle the backup camera image would not display or would suddenly shut off while driving in reverse. Also while attempting to start the vehicle the message battery saving mode had displayed and the vehicle would not start. The cause of the failures were not determined. The local dealer greenway Dodge(9051 east colonial dr. , orlando FL. ) was notified of the failures. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 64,000. Jft.
Inside middle dome light stays on on some occasions turns itself on even after car is locked. Another issue that just started while driving the car or prearranged much just being on is the rear wiper comes on by itself and stays runnin till it wants to stop and when it dose turn itself off the wiper blade stays in the middle position instead of going down all the way.
The issues started after the recall for the speed control computer flash was done, about 2 weeks after I noticed that my rear wiper would only turn on when the car was in reverse. If I would put the rear wiper switch in the on position nothing would happen. So in order to stop the rear wiper from moving while in reverse, I have to leave the switch on the on position, my rear wiper also moves when I unlock my car. . Following that my reverse lights do not come on. Then my left tail gate light does not come on when lights are turned on but it does come on when I unlocked the car. When I open the rear hatch door none of the interior lights turn on. So I am forced to open another door if I want the lights to turn on. Also when I go to reverse my back up camera screen goes black and also starts to glitch. This happens occasionally.
