Blind Spot Detection problem #1

Backup camera works when it wants to. Most times it's upside down, or staticky. Dealership says the only fix is to replace it, but we can't afford that. It's a safety hazard.

My backup camera doesn’t work at all! just a black screen. So it doesn’t comply with the law… I can’t see to back up at all. If you google the 2018 Journey it says there is a recall on the backup camera but when I put my VIN number in it doesn’t pop up as a rd all but this needs to be a recall and is very dangerous it hasn’t ben inspected but it readily available if h would like to came inspect it. There was no lamps warning signs or anything. ?.

Rear veiw mirror camera started coming on late and then completely quit.

Back up camera stopped working just after manufacturer warranty expired. When car is in reverse the screen in the rear view indicates the camera isn't working.
