4 Front Driver Side Air Bag Inflator problem

Failure Date: 07/20/2015

Takata recall hi, I received a notice in the mail last year stating the driver airbag inflator may rupture and that my vehicle would be repaired free of charge once the parts are available. It's been months and I have not received any follow up recall notice from fca (fiat Chrysler automobiles). Since there is a potential for serious injury to the vehicle occupants as stated in the recall letter I would like to know how much longer I will have to wait for fca to get the replacement parts? this is getting absurd and I want my car fixed before I am seriously injured. Why can't the dealer use a different type of airbag or simply remove the defective one so I don't get seriously injured when driving my car?? I am very unhappy with fca and their lack of response. Thank you.
