Equipment problem #1

Vehicle engine codes were all corrected properly in hopes of fixing the stalling issues. The vehicle was seemingly better for a few days. Upon driving the vehicle on the highway at normal highway speed, the vehicle suddenly began flickering and shutting off and on. The vehicle would shut off and on rapidly. Each time the vehicle turned back on it would accelerate causing the vehicle to jolt forward and stop rapidly. The car would not allow me to brake safely. The vehicle behind was within inches of a collision but their quick response to slam on their brakes and swerved to the shoulder thankfully missed. This is not an isolated event. Speaking to other hemi 5. 7 vehicle owners this is a very common issue. I had a baby in a carseat in the backseat who was jolted around slamming the back of his head into his car seat. This is so dangerously unsafe. Not dealership can find the problem even after replacing every part possible on these vehicles.

Equipment problem #2

My car will turn off when im at a light or if im driving down the road and will just shut off dont know the issue but its dangerous to drive on the road.

Equipment problem #3

Takata recall.

Equipment problem #4

It's started making a loud clicking noise so I took it to the dealership and they said it was a sensor in the dash behind the steering column that keeps the exhaust from coming back inside the car. What should I do?.

Equipment problem #5

My shifter will not go out of park. Im stranded. Transmission shifter interlock lever. Ive been on line most of the day and beyond complaints on this one. I am a 55 year old woman and can not rig it to drive like all the men in videos. It is a pink plastic part that was originally put in the car and now everyone is have to buy new ones that are metal. There needs to be a recall ASAP.

Equipment problem #6

Gear shift stuck in park.

Equipment problem #7

My son's work is within five miles at 35 miles per hour the car died. Had to put in park restart. My husband noticed and vacuum hose loose so he fixed it. Next time on my sons way to work the car was at a red light and died. 2 days later I was driving stopped at a red light and the car stalled. Every red light stop, back home. I put car in neutral when stopped, car didn't die out. Green light back to drive no problem. Made it home! I waited like at stop light car die. Put in park shut it down. Taking to shop this week.

Equipment problem #8

When I fill my gas tank with fuel the motor stalls and goes dead continuously for about 15 miles then it gets better but it will die sometimes as many as 5 or 6 times.

Equipment problem #9

For the last 60 to 90 days , my car has being turning off several times . I took it for maintenance and everything was updated, brakes , oil change . I was advised it was my fuel tank . This needs to be fixed ASAP , I drive my children with me all the time .

Equipment problem #10

I have been having major issue with my Magnum stalling. It stalls after I fill up on gas, if I drive alot during the day it stalls alot at night, and it happens at all speeds. I have been stuck at major intersections freeways, freeway entrances and exits. Its not a great feeling fearing every time you drive especially the way people drive in los angeles. This is getting out of control and I have no option but to drive it. I am afraid of getting in a deadly accident because of this issue please help.

Equipment problem #11

Transmission shifter interlock lever return spring hook broke August 16, 2013, I parked my car in the garage at 9pm, no problems at that time. I returned on August 18, 2013 approximately 1:00pm to start my car and I proceeded to take the vehicle out of park and the gear shift wouldn't move. I pressed on the break again and tried again to take the gear shift out of park, it would not move. I couldn't believe this was happening again for I also CO-own a Dodge charger and the exact same thing happened to that vehicle on July 30th. I called my mechanic and he walked me through the steps to get the vehicle out of park (remove the plate around the gear shift, take a long screw driver and move the wire extending to the gear shift to the left, which would release the gear out of park) and it worked. I was out-of-town and completely stressed that this was happening to my 2nd Dodge vehicle. Both vehicles were purchased within a couple of weeks of each other and from the same dealer. (michael jordan Nissan). A recall has been issued for this part but neither of my vehicles are covered. I really need this to be investigated, for I need both of my vehicles to work properly. What are the odds of owning 2 vehicles from Dodge, having the same problem to occur with both vehicles within weeks a part.

Equipment problem #12

Immediately after filling gas tank with new fuel the following has happened several times: the car will start at the gas station but shortly after leaving the gas station (within a block or when getting back onto the highway from a rest stop) the car will stall. The stall can happen at a traffic light or even on the way to reaching highway speeds. At this time my solution to the problem has been to rev the engine in neutral for a bit after getting the gas tank filled with fresh gasoline.

Equipment problem #13

Whenever I fill my gas tank, the vehicle will stall within one or two blocks from gas pumps. It can happen at 20 miles an hour or less. It can happen entering a highway at 50 miles per hour. The car will start right up and will normally run fine after stalling. On one or two occasions it stalled twice after a fill up. Lately it happens after each fill up regardless of gas station or brand of gas.

Equipment problem #14

My Dodge Magnum for the last year " total of 4 times" has stalled only after refueling along with the steering wheel locking. There is no warning !. No engine light. ! the car just shuts down . But this last time it almost caused a accident. Too close to a disaster. I had my child in the car . I have read the complaints on this site. And I know I am not the only one this happens to. Why is this not being addressed !!! I have never had this happen to me with any other car I have owned. I baby my car with servicing . I have 134,282 miles. I haven't had a issue with the car ever. Until now. I believe it's a faulty part. This is a life threatening issue. As well as the psychical stress not knowing when my car fails me. Why is this not a recall with the Dodge Magnum fuel system? which causes a vapor lock without warning. Does someone have to loose a life to get this addressed ?.

Equipment problem #15

After refueling and filling up the tank, the car will shutdown under braking, cornering or at a stop. This happend so frequently I no longer fill the tank and stop at 3/4. There are several instances reported both here and in canada on the car forums. The fix has been either replacing the tank and/or the evap valve and pump.

Equipment problem #16

The car was recked really bad. Front end a back was damged mainly the frame of the car front end also the trunk was pushed in and the rightside rear light is damged alittle inside was messed up power seats dont work properly. Also at times it dont move at all it was sold to me like this at a really unfair price of 17,999. They need to be locked in jail for such a scam and ripped me off. Also these people are stone hearted crooks. Please help this is not right and this has to be against the law.

Equipment problem #17

I purchased a 2006 Magnum from lithia of fairfield in may of this year, 2006. The vehicle was running fine for the first five months (may-oct) with the only distraction being one of the rear windows operated fine from both power switches for 90% of the time. I took it in during routine warranty service and explained to one of the service managers but because the power window switches were operable that day I was told there was nothing they could do (that didn't sit to well with me, but I shrugged it off and said ok). In October, a few other incidents happened like the blue tooth quit communicating with the system. I figured to wait until my next routine service maintenance to have it looked at in a few weeks. Around the same time frame I noticed the vehicle did not shift smoothly into reverse and that while sustaining a steady highway cruising speed the vehicle would feel like it wasn't firing on all cylinders if I gradually increased the rpms. I made note and asked to have this investigate at the same time I was taking the vehicle in for the scheduled maintenance. Unfortunately (or fortunate, depending on point of view of surviving a highway accident), the transmission failed while on the way to work driving on a very, very busy and dangerous stretch of road where the average speed is about 75 mph. The fortunate part of this being I was able to limp along for about one half mile on newly completed shoulder of the road to an exit. I literally shudder, which sends chills down my spine, to think "what if my wife had been driving the vehicle?".
