The contact owns a 2006 Dodge Magnum. The contact heard a loud squeaking noise from the brake system and when attempting to decelerate when the vehicle make a loud grinding noise and shake excessively. The failure was similar to recall 06v149000 (service brakes, hydraulic). The brake system did not help to idle the vehicle. A private mechanic replaced the front and rear brake pads and he noticed that there was a brake hose leak and performed the repairs; however, the failure continued. The current mileage was 97,000 and the failure mileage was 80,000.
