Tl-the contact owns a 2007 Dodge Magnum. The contact stated that while driving at 25 mph, the vehicle stalled. In addition, the contact noticed smoke coming from the engine compartment. The check engine warning light had previously illuminated. The vehicle was towed to a dealer who diagnosed that the motor needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown. Oo.
My 2007 Magnum has 48k miles and recently had the engine light come on showing code 1004. Research online shows this code to be very prevalent with this model of Dodge, yet they claim it is not an issue, and are asking $1300+ for replacement/parts for the intake and short-runner actuators. As well, my sunroof track failed and the sunroof will not move. Both the guide attached to the glass and the sunroof assembly both have broken plastic parts.
