The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Magnum. The contact stated the vehicle would roar and then decelerate when attempting to accelerate from a stop. The dealer performed a software update however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken to the dealer a second time and the contact was informed that she needed to replace the actuator idle sensor and the upper intake manifold. The vehicle was also taken to a private mechanic who informed the contact that the vehicle was unsafe to drive. No repairs were performed. The manufacturer was aware of the failure. The current mileage was 75,900. The approximate failure mileage was 35,000.
