Takata recall. It has been over six months since I received the original recall notice and my dealer claims the parts are still not available. The manufacturer is building new cars with modified air bags why can some of those parts be used to fix the older cars that they are required to repair?.

Help!! I have a 2008 Magnum. I tried for 3 months to get the ignition recall done. "parts weren't available". Suddenly 3/2016 my car shut off while driving. It was towed to a dealer where they did the p57, r25 recalls. Upon return of car to me I notice dash functions inoperable. I went right back inside and was told I could leave it to be looked at (I would be billed) I called fcausllc and they set me up for a tow to a 2nd dealer. There it was found the wiring under the dash had been pulled apart. Partial repair was made there, but I then had a slow drain on electrical system. For 2+ months I was ignored by fca trying to get the issue remedied. On 5/22/16 I was on highway and car completely shut down again. This time I hit a retaining wall. It's been 3 months and I have no solution to this. I was ignored for a month and a half. Then they deneyed my claim due to it "not being a mfg. Defect" they knew the problem before this happened in the meantime the dealer where the car is has notified me the cars airbags had been deployed and are no good. . . . If they just replaced one of them, how had they been deployed. . . Why would they said to have done a recall on a deployed system. . . . . And why was I not notified of a airbag system that would not have helped me if I would have hit the wall head on? I have filed 2 complaints with bbb , and fca lied about the whole situation, and the case was closed. The dealership that messed up the electrical system replied with a false situation, and sales pitch for a new car, and my file was closed. I am 2500+ miles from my vehicle, am in financial shambles. No one from fca will even return my calls, and they refuse to give me any info when I call. This has destroyed my business, family, finances, and state of mind. I am out of options, please let me know how to pursue this. Thank you.
Takata recall, I was contacted as to the repair of my vehicle. I was informed that I need to bring the vehicle in for the repair either late in the evening and it would be returned the next day. When asked what accommodation would I receive will they had car for repairs I was informed that there would be none. I cant understand how after waiting also a year to have car repaired I now have to be inconvenienced to have my car repaired for something that could lead to bodily harm even death. I can not understand how I am suppose to get my vehicle repaired if I do not have away to drop it off or pick it up. This is unfair and truly wrong. . This is not my responsibility this is theirs and they should have to pay for all cost.

2005 Dodge Magnum. Consumer writes in regards to driver airbag recall notice replacement parts issues.
I believe my cars has a problem with the gas tank. On Friday September 11 2015, we drove the car and it had gas at the time, suddenly the car just turned off on the street. On my gas meter or gage is always reading it on empty when it has fuel. It's also smelling like gasoline now. We bought the car from a used car dealer and it's still being financed. How can I know if it's a manufacture problem, I did some research and it happened to say that this gas problem happens to the Dodge Magnum 2005-2006, if it's a manufacture problem do I call the Dodge dealer and will it be fixed by them. I have two children, I can't drive a vehicle that is not safe. What options do I have. The vehicle also has an air bag recall, which the dealer has not fixed because they don't have the parts it's been over 3 weeks since we received the safety recall notice by mail.
Called dealership after receiving safety recall notice in June 2015. They don't have parts to repair/replace defective parts. They'll notify us when they receive them. Called dealership after receiving additional safety recall notice in September 2015. They don't have parts to repair/replace defective parts. They'll notify us when they receive them. Why are there no replacement parts available when they know there is a present danger to the drivers lives? why send out notices if there is no resolution to the threat? does no one care about saving drivers lives?.
There was no incident, I am writing to complain about failure to perform recall work. I received a notice from fca informing me of the recall in may or June. I also received a letter from the dealership, fremont California Chrysler Dodge Jeep, in June to inform me that my car was affected by airbag recall r25 / NHTSA 15v-313, and that I should wait for them to contact me when parts became available. They never contacted me. I called the dealership twice in early September and was told they could only add my name to a waiting list. I called again and left a message with the parts desk to please contact me to let me know when I would get parts. They did not return my call. I sent a written message to the dealership regarding this issue, and received no response or returned call. I am filing this complaint because I have been waiting for over three months, and they will not respond or resolve the issue - this is an unreasonable amount of time to wait for a safety related recall repair.
