Takata recall. The contact owns a 2006 Dodge Magnum. Within weeks of owning the vehicle, the air bag indicator illuminated. The unknown independent dealer who sold the contact the vehicle made no mention of the fact that the vehicle was included in NHTSA campaign number: 16v352000 (air bags). In addition, the battery save mode indicator illuminated, the vehicle jerked, and the speed drastically reduced. The contact had to drive cautiously and potentially utilize the hazard lights when the failure occurred. Various warning indicators flashed on the instrument panel, such as the bac and skid control which also intermittently illuminated. Also, the head lamps shorted out several times. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic for inspection and diagnostic testing. The vehicle was serviced by an unknown dealer. The manufacturer was notified of the failures. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was not available.
