Arrived home after shopping with granddaughter was unloading car when she moved seat forward and yelled smoke. I raced to passenger front and seen a trickle of smoke looked under the seat and observed a flame coming from the ? heated seat control module? luckily I was home exstiguished the flame disconnected the battery. Then proceeded to take part off. Burned the connector, the wires, and the module. Car was parked and the keys was in my pocket. No power should of been going in the unit.

"takata recall" I was notified of the recall when it was made available to me by fca us llc I contacted a dealer in claremore okla and the recall has yet to be repaired. I have children and would like this completed before possible injury occurs.
Problems with the sunroof - off track, problems with the transmission - leaking, problems with the front end suspension - axle, problems with the gear shift - would not engage out of park, problems with the driver side seat - cracking, problems with the driver side seatbelt - jams and problems with the hydraulic hinges on the hood as well as the rear hatch.
