Three problems related to front seat belt buckle assembly have been reported for the 1997 Dodge Neon. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Clip that goes into the buckle of seat belt has a plastic catch that locks. Plastic clip that locks seat belt around person when disconnected plastic clip pops off.
Driver's side seat belt is not working properly, it is not latching. Consumer is concerned about safety for being unprotected.
Rear right side latch plate broke in half twice, which wont securely hold a css. In event of a crash, css may fly out or won't restraint an occupant. Please provide further information.
