Five problems related to suspension have been reported for the 1998 Dodge Neon. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer states that vehicle shakes at any speed. Dealer notified.
Vehicle rides really rough.
When turning, a loud pop can be heard from the right front wheel and the steering has a catch in it. Nlm.
While making a right turn there is a partial hang up in the steering, causing a loud popping noise in the front end. The dealer is aware of the problem. Vehicle will be repaired. Owner feels that the problem should be under recall because of service bulletin.
Steering wheel would vibrate/shake while traveling at highway speed (65-70mph). This happens when traveling at lower speeds also. Took to dealer approximately 10-12 times for problem. They worked on it at least 8 times. Had the tires rotated. Will be going to arbitration.
