Two problems related to defogger have been reported for the 1999 Dodge Neon. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
After two years of auto repair visits, I have come to find that there is a design flaw in the air induction system. Every time it rains, the vehicle sucks air through the air intake and soaks the air filter. It gets so wet that you can literally ring it out. The water is then ingested by the engine, causing very loud noises along with shaking and vibrations of the vehicle. Also eventually causing other major car trouble. Nlm.
Ventillation system of the vehicle does not contain an air circulation switch to shut off exterior air flow to prevent exterior exhaust and air from entering vehicle, resulting in nausea and headaches to consumer.
