Consumer states vehicle brake pad makes a gridding noise, feels like wheel is about to fall off, problem only exsits in the morning. Had vehicle serviced, brake pad and rotor are fine. Dealer states the condensation from the humidity causes mositure and makes the rotor rust, that causes the noise. Cannot fix problem. Nlm.
Consumer stated that while driving at any speed, the brake rotors are warped due to over heating, causing vibration in the steering wheel when applying the brake. Dealer notified. Ts consumer feels this is premature as the brake rotors have been resurfaced twice due to excessive warping.
Every two to three months rotors has to be changed or rotated. Dealer has corrected problem twice, but it's reoccurring.
Service rep stated brakes need to be replaced as well as rotors. Stated front pads are almost at wear sensor. Need to be replaced. Rotors also need to be replaced--corroded due to severe weather conditions in the buffalo area this past winter. Rotors cannot be turned because they would be below specs and cause pulsating. Rotors as not damaged by brakes but by road salt? Chrysler stated I have no recourse. Please advise.
