Windshield Problems of Dodge Neon

Shortly after I bought this car, used, I noticed a deformity in the windshield. Over the last year it has doubled in size, and now there is another one. The first one was on the passenger side, and was more of an nuisance, but the second one is right in my line of site when driving. It causes whatever is outside to be blurred, and contorted. It is almost like looking through a coke bottle, and is very distracting.

There is a serious blind spot when looking to the left out the windshield. The piece that connects the front windshield and drivers side window is much too wide for proper visibility. Also noticed poor visibility when driving at night with oncoming headlights.

Under normal conditions while closing drivers side door, door glass shattered. Problem occurred four times. The second time 9-year old son shut the door and glass shattered. Thirdand fourth times when driver shut door, the glass shattered.

Glare from dashboard reflecting on the windsheild is dangerous. At times the glare makes it almost impossible to see when heading into the sun. This is a problem even when wearing sunglasses.

At time of purchase vehicle had spot on the windshield. Vehicle has been acid washed more than three times, when the glass is dry you cannot see spots, during rainy days consumer cannot see out of windshield.

Driver's side door window exploded in warm weather, causing glass to fly everywhere. Cause of problem unknown.

Due to a degree of slant in windshield there is a 3 by 13 inch of reflection in center of the windshield which has caused poor driver's visibility. Consumer has contacted the dealer. Please provide any further details. The reflection is the defrost vent on the vehicle cowling which increases in density as the vehicle is driven and light varies, in early morning friving especially to the east on a tree lined road/street this reflection becomes dominant in the center of the windshield causing poor visibility. Nlm.

I've noticed on all 94-99 Neon's that the drivers side window has sratches on the same spot of the window and that they all look identical to each othere. You can tell that it is the window trim that is causing it. And once again it is on all Neon's that's I've seen. 4 of my friends all have them and they all have it ecxept for the 2001 Neon. The other 3 and mine have it and jours are 94-99 Neons.
