2 Brake Light problem of the 2010 Dodge Nitro

Failure Date: 01/01/2015

After locking my car and leaving it I come back to find it unlocked and the windows down constantly. Now my brake lights wont work on the sides but the top brake light does. Bulbs and fuses are fine. All three lights are connected by wire so they all should be on or off together. Today my battery just up and died. Just wondered if its all related. I have read other people complaining about the same electrical problem with windows and door locks. It happens anywhere anytime overnight or in the pouring rain when im out and about. After the car is parked and locked. The two side brake lights are out all the time the top one lights. The brake light issue just happened 5/2019 the window issue has been a few years 2015.

4 Brake Light problem of the 2008 Dodge Nitro

Failure Date: 01/08/2014

All things electrical go crazy, locks are locking and unlocking on there own, even when I am driving down the road and eventually don't work at all. Lights don't work on drivers side of car. I push the brake and the dome light in the hatch area on passenger floor light up. All sensor lights are on, in the dash area, seat belt, brake, air bags, etc. Brake light is flashing on and off and dinging when it feels like it. This is an on going problem for a lot of the 2008 Dodge Nitro and I see 152 complaints alone on this website and a lot more on the carcomplaints. Com. Since they are no longer making this vehicle, but a majority of people that bought this 2008 Nitro are having this problem. I beg you to please look into this and have a recall on this! thank you!.

5 Brake Light problem of the 2007 Dodge Nitro

Failure Date: 12/17/2013

(1) the brake light on top of my tail gate is out. The cost of this light is $79. 50. The cost of the other 2 side brake lights is $2. 50 each. I will go to jail for having a light out before I pay $80. For this 3rd light. What do I do? (2) the front amber marker lights have gone out. These lights are only $2. 50 each but it will cost me $95 to change one of them because the front of the car has to come off to change it. This should be illegal. What do I do? (3) the door mounted rear view mirrors are too big and mounted too high. The mirror along with the windshield post creates a huge blind spot when looking for traffic coming from the right or when turning to the left. At least once a month I almost pull out into a car in that blind spot. Very dangerous and poor engineering. What do I do?.
