Four problems related to front air bag have been reported for the 1997 Dodge Ram 1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving 10 mph driver's air bag inadvertently deployed. This caused the driver to sustain minor injuries. Vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection. The cause had not been determined.
Consumer was involved in a front end collision in which driver's airbag deployed, causing driver to sustain severe arm burns. Consumer was very concerned about the exploding of the airbag.
