You shouldn't be able to pull the gear shifter from park to reverse without your foot being on the break. Plus the emergency break does not work as well.

Was on my way to work and my pinyon nut come off off drive shaft and pinyon gear busted through the rear end housing.

3 Equipment problem

The abs and brake light comes on and stays on until I restart the engine, goes out but comes back on, this seems to be a big problem with the 1998 Dodge Ram 1500, I have changed the rear wheel speed sensor that everyone tells me that the Dodge is famous for, no help, then changed the break light sensor, no help, brakes, no help, what do I do know, can't sell it due to the lights being on.

4 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 12/16/2002

Dash breaking apart, leaving small and large shards of very sharp plastic pointing to passengers/driver.

5 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 11/10/1999

The dashboard has fallen apart shortly after buying pickup.

6 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 01/01/1998

To date, nothing has happened, however a recall was issued saying the secondary hood latch must be replaced, as it can fly open. We were unaware of the recall.
