Two problems related to rear suspension have been reported for the 1998 Dodge Ram 1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Front end wobbles after hitting bump. Wobble is so severe almost lost control of vehicle. Vehicle is well maintained, there are no worn out parts that caused this. This death wobble is a common problem with Dodge trucks.
Rear end was built too small for v8 engine,causing it to burn up. Dealer will install a 350 rearend because 321 parts are on a nationwide backorder.
