Two problems related to accelerator pedal have been reported for the 1999 Dodge Ram 1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While attempting to accelerating to 40 mph and pulling out a parking lot the throttle stuck in the open position. When this occurred driver immediately put the vehicle in neutral. The engine continued to race, but the vehicle coasted to a complete stop. A friend/handy man found where the throttle was hung, and twitched it back down.
While driving at 20-25mph took foot off the accelerator, and vehicle remained at the same speed. Contacted dealer they said nothing was wrong.
