Four problems related to brake electric antilock have been reported for the 2002 Dodge Ram 1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
When on the slightest rough surface, this truck jumps and bounces all over the road. I lose all control of the truck when it is jumping. Worse, the brakes bounce and grab when you apply them. Dangerous. Wide spread knowledge of these safety issues. Need a resolution and recall.
While driving 40 mph consumer applied the brakes and vehicle did not stop. The front wheel hub assembly broke on driver's side, causing the vehicle to flip.
When trying to apply the anti lock brakes. Brakes will lock up, causing th vehicle to have extended stopping distance. Dealer had been notified.
While driving and upon pressing brakes, vehicle will lurch about eight or nine feet. This has happened at least five times. Took vehicle to dealer, and problem has not been remedied as of yet. Please provide any further information.
